The work of the Washington Healthcare Forum's Administrative Simplification Effort has been successful due to a 'grass roots' and common sense approach that only comes from dialogue with all parties vested in healthcare information exchange; the Provider, the Hospital, the Health Plan, and the Patient. Only through collaboration and understanding can problems be defined, understood, and solved. Once a solution is reached, adoption of that solution is key to the success of the "Standardize, Simplify, Streamline" moniker. Without broad based sharing of solutions and measured impacts and results, the simplification of processes and possible time savings cannot be achieved. The Forum encourages your participation in the Workshops and on the Work Groups; in addition, familiarity with the Forum's web tools, usage of OneHealthPort, and feedback through the accountable leadership on the Steering Committee and suggestion box are important to our collective, continued success.
